IF YOU ARRIVE BY TRAIN
Train is the fastest and comfortable way to get to Riomaggiore. Take the train “La Spezia-Genova“. Once in Riomaggiore, Ciao Bella is just a few minutes walk from the station (follow the direction below in the “Check in” section). Info and tickets on www.trenitalia.com
IF YOU COME BY CAR (PAY ATTENTION TO THE PARKING!!!)
Suggested exits of from highways: La Spezia (from there follow the road signs to La Spezia and Le Cinque Terre) and Carrodano (follow the directions to Levanto and Le Cinque Terre).
Riomaggiore is a small village closed to traffic. Only (very few) paid parking lots are located at the entrance of the village. Their price is 35 euros a day and you can not book them in advance. We suggest you to leave your car in La Spezia (that also means avoiding long queues on the coastal road, especially in high season) and to reach Riomaggiore by train (only one stop at 10 minutes ride).
PARKING IN LA SPEZIA FOR FREE in Piazza D’Armi area you will find free secure parking. From there you can walk to La Spezia station in 10 minutes.
PAID PARKING IN LA SPEZIA We have an agreement with a car park near the station. For Ciao Bella guests only, parking will be 18 Euros / 24 h. Parking of “Il Nuovo Mondo” shop in Via Riccardo Migliari 24 where you will find the banner “Riservato ai clienti MONTEVERDI” that means “Riserved to MONTEVERDI customers” (open from 9 to 20 tel. +39 327 081 9758 (WhatsApp only).
IF YOU ARRIVE BY PLANE
The best connected airports are those of Pisa and Genova. From Pisa (it takes about 2h): when you land, near the Arrivals Hall of the airport you will find a Train Information Office window where you can buy your tickets to La Spezia. You will receive two train tickets: the first ticket for the transfer by shuttle from Pisa Aeorporto to Pisa Centrale train station (it takes 5 minutes). The second ticket for the train from Pisa Centrale to La Spezia. Once you arrive to La Spezia you have to buy one more ticket for the train that will take you to Riomaggiore in 10 minutes (only one stop). From Genova: when you land, you will find a a shuttle service that will take you in 20 minutes to the train station “Genova Piazza Principe”. From there, there are several option to get to Riomaggiore by train. It depends on what time you are leaving from Genova. Info and tickets on www.trenitalia.com
